2008/2009 Premier League fixtures released

The fixtures for the upcoming Premier League season were released today and it looks like we’ll need to hit the ground running with a match against Newcastle at home on the opening day (16th August 2007, Kick off 3pm), follwed by Portsmouth and Fulham at home, then away to Liverpool and Chelsea.

Before the new season kicks off, United will host Juventus in their final pre-seaon friendly (6th August, Kick off 8pm) before the Community Shield against Portsmouth (10th August, Kick off 3pm).

    The new season will definately be hard and above all busy.Sir Alex Ferguson needs to make two or three quality signings to ensure Man United do well in Europe and also retain the English Premier League.
