Anderson dreams of Mourinho and Inter

6 December 08 by Bill

It’s only his second season at Manchester United but the Brazilian midfielder has already set his sights on playing in Italy if today’s media stories are to be believed. Anderson has played in 54 games for United already in his short career but even regular first team football at the biggest club in the world might be enough to keep the 20 year old past his current contract.

Quoted in Tuttosport, Anderson reportedly said: “I am thinking about playing in Italy, Italian football is the best in the world and the most intelligent. Every player wants to play in Serie A, because Italians are the masters of football.

I really like Inter. I have always liked them from when Ronaldo played there. [Massimo] Moratti has always assembled great teams and Inter can win anything with the players they have.

“I will not hide myself and in future I would love to play for Mourinho at Inter. My dream is to be coached by Mourinho.”

That last statement is sure to go strike a chord with United fans and the staff at Old Trafford particularly given the rivalry most Reds fans feel towards Mourinho after his 3 years with Chelsea.

Sometimes we should take these reports with a pinch of salt. Overdone at time.
