Quality riposte Hakan. On the finance issue i agree UTD has a larger budget at their disposal however the requirements of being successful in the English premier league require such. To be at the pinnacle of the best league in the world requires plentiful resource. Fair play to any side in any country that can be successful in their leagues and make an impact in the CL. I am sure if Porto were financed by , say a very wealthy Russian, instead of having to be a selling club they would have a greater impact. Having said that they are in a god position, it will be a very good game on Wednesday, but we will be the first english side to win at Porto. come on you Reds !!

Regardless of the outcome on Wednesday you made a good point Ricardo. But hopefully Ronaldo will give a great performance in his home country. Or otherwise we’ll have to put Macheda on for the last ten minutes.:)

Let´s wait for Wednesday and see how Porto will do…One thing is clear: we´ve already made you stop to think that manchester don´t play alone, we are also a strong team!!

According to an article published here in Portugal, the manchester budget for this year could pay the squad of Porto, Sporting and Benfica all together for the past 4 years. There´s a big difference but everything is possible…

Ricardo above was right…man utd have financial resources, but underestimate their opponents, and it has been proved last night with a 2-2 draw in the first leg…Porto deserved to win thou, they outplayed the United team, so not kind the 1/4 finals draw in the end…
a 0-0 will suit Porto next week, but i believe they wont just sit for a 0-0, if they can score 2 goals on OT, then i wonder how many they will score on home ground

Once more you (english people) don´t learn the lesson! You are used to consider yourselves the best in the world but i will tell you something:

- Euro 2004: Portugal win England (bye byeeeee)

- Champions League2004: Porto beat Man.Utd…

- WorldCup 2008: byeeee byeeee once again;

Of course you are a better side (with the financial resources you have it would be a little bit difficult not to have) but you really underestimate us.
You know how many international titles we have??
