New signing De Laet out for four weeks

Surprise January signing Ritchie De Laet has been side lined for up to four weeks after suffering ankle ligament damage in training.
De Laet signed for United on 8th January from Stoke City on a three year performance related contract. He has been training with the Reserves and has started in their last three games so the set back is most unfortunate for the youngster.
“This is a blow,” De Laet said. “Now I have less time in which to prove myself.
“I really want to train again as soon as possible. In two weeks I hope to resume (light training).”
