Also, beating man utd is not proof of a teams ability to win the league. the league is hard and it takes more than one match. Liverpool will prove they can win the title when they DO win the title. the fact Liverpool have come nowhere close since the Premier League started tells me more about their abilities than winning one match.

Injuries are a part of the game. If you have a team which relies on two players ie, Torres and Gerrard, you will always have problems. That is why you need a squad capable of winning. Put simply, Liverpool do not have the squad to win it.

Manchester United had to deal with a multitude of defensive injuries, Rooney and Ronaldo have been on the sidelines for a month each and where are they in the League? Injuries are no excuse…….Liverpool are not top because they are not the best team in the country. They are nowhere near in truth.
