Tom Cleverly joins Leicester City on loan

Young midfielder Tom Cleverly has joined Leicester City on loan until the end of the season.

Cleverly, 19, is deemed to have a bright future at Old Trafford and has featured regularly for the reserves this season. With Manchester United already possessing such quality in midfield, Cleverly is still waiting for his first team debut despite being named on the bench twice already this season.

Leicester City are currently top of League 1, 4 points clear of MK Dons but lost their last match to Crystal Palace and were knocked out of the FA Cup. Cleverly is available for Leicester’s next fixture against Yeovil Town on Monday.
